From Early On...

Lynda found her love of music and creative style around the age of 12. But, who would have known that a radio, a cassette tape recorder, and a journal filled with poems and stories would be the beginning of setting her creative heart in motion? She would sit for hours scribbling and erasing in her black marble notebook, rewriting the lyrics to her favorite songs.

Years of strengthening her craft (through songwriting workshops, courses, and incredible mentors along the way) and building a song catalog were time well spent before stepping onto the scene. She then secured placement within the music libraries of Billy Penn Music (Greater Philadelphia Film Office) initially, then Taxi, Songtradr, and Crucial Music. Lynda's professional affiliations are with BMI, Friends of the Music Supervisors Guild, and Nashville Songwriters Association International (NAIS) to name a few.

"With great silence comes great productivity." Lynda jokingly says when asked about her quiet, reserved nature. “I’ve always been the quiet observer that’s most comfortable blending into the background of a crowd or whatever the scene. When I go into the studio, that’s where I feel at home."

Lynda goes on to say, "I’m the type to sit on the floor, headphones on, and turned up, so it’s just me and the music surrounding me. Once I listen to a track and connect with it, ideas spark, and it’s like I see the song play out in my mind like a slow-motion video. The music already tells the story; I just translate the emotion into words.”

A Collaborator With an Array of Sounds

Lynda knows all too well the power of collaborative work. So, armed with a binder (containing 650 +lyrics) and Ipad in her backpack, Lynda made it her mission to create more opportunities. So she established her own company, and through social media, blazed a trail set to find collaborators to begin cranking out songs one after the other. That process ended up pulling in some amazing people to work alongside. The result gave her a catalog filled with R&B, Pop, Alternative, Country, Rock, EDM and Gospel songs.

“My most recent collaborations have been so across the board! I’ve been working with musicians, producers, vocalists, and engineers from Philly, Maryland, LA, Florida, Nashville, Italy, Belgium, London, and Argentina. It’s been an unbelievably exciting and satisfying experience because it has given me the chance to learn something unique from them all. Its challenge keeps me on top of my game, constantly shifting gears to the next song! It’s my addiction and remedy all in one. For me, songwriting is a necessity, and everyday life fuels my inspiration: the highs, the lows, and all the stories in between. The bonus of it all is having people relate to and love what you’ve created. That’s a feeling I’ll chase song after song!”
